Landlord Certification

We offer very competitive rates to perform these services. If any potentially dangerous situations or defects are found we are able, with the landlord's permission, to carry out any remedial work necessary to make the premises safe for occupation.

It is now a legal requirement in all rented property that all gas appliances supplied by the landlord are checked annually by a Gas Safe registered gas engineer. This is in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, Section 36.

A series of checks as to the condition of appliances in the property must be undertaken in order for landlords to comply with the relevant legislation. This is not a pass or fail test, but an up to date observation of the safety of the gas appliances in the property. A copy of the record is held by us, one is given to the landlord, and one must remain in the property for the tenants.
